The Prilla Paws Story

Hi! I'm Holly, the owner and sole groomer behind Prilla Paws.

I trained as a dog groomer in 2022 under the amazingly talented, award winning Amy Manser of Just4Paws where I earned my levels 2 and 3 City and Guilds Dog Grooming qualifications.

I worked for a large company that has hundreds of pet shops and grooming salons for just over a year before leaving to pursue the goal of working for myself.
I wanted to be able to do better for the dogs in my care - to be able to give the dogs the time they needed to be happy in the salon rather than rushed through to meet targets.

Thus Prilla Paws was born - named after my own wonderful dog, Prilla. We adopted her in 2016 when she was 5 years old from Babbington Rescue who brought her over from Romania after she had been found under a bush on a piece of cardboard having recently given birth to 8 beautiful puppies.

Prilla has shaped my life in so many ways, the biggest being in fuelling my passion for helping the more nervous dogs that just need a little more time and understanding.

When you leave your dog with me, trust that I will love and care for them the way I do for my girl.

Honorable mention to my other pup, Charlie. He may not be the star of the branding behind the business, but he's truly my best lil mate and deserves a bit of time in the spotlight too!
